Born on Valentine's Day, and coming from our "Mad" line, how could we NOT name this fancy, white doe "Madly In Love"? Love has the most beautiful fore udder and the strength of bone and general appearance that are my priorities. While I would like to see her teats hang a tad more plumb, they are more desirable than her dam's in size and placement. Love has my ideal front end as well with plenty of extention of brisket and straight as an arrow front legs. She is as sweet as her name suggests. With a Best Junior Doe in Show win as a kid and a milking leg and Best of Breed at her second show out this year, I am excited to see what the future holds for this barnyard up and comer. UPDATE: Love beat out her dam, GCH Manzinita Farm Mad Resurection, for a Best In Show & Best Udder In Show win at one of our last shows of the season which finished her championship in style.
2023 Was a great year for Love. She continues to WOW in the show ring, going Best Udder in Show at the Montana State Fair and she was part of our 1st Place Dairy Herd as well. I retained her 2023 doe kid, Love Me Do, and am looking forward to keeping her prodigy in the herd.
